Privacy Policy
Clicky is designed to keep haptic settings and click behavior local to your device. This page explains what the website may process and what the plugin does not send to us.
Local plugin behavior
Clicky runs locally on your machine alongside Logitech Options+. Button settings, selected waveforms, and runtime behavior are intended to stay on the device where the plugin is installed.
Click data
Clicky is not intended to upload your mouse clicks, click timing, or per-application click activity to our servers. Haptic triggering happens locally through the Logitech plugin environment.
Hosted settings page and localhost bridge
The public settings page connects to a local bridge such as 127.0.0.1 so your browser can read and save settings while the plugin is active. That bridge runs on your machine and is used so the hosted page can communicate with the local plugin process.
Website data we may receive
Like most websites, the Clicky website host may process basic request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and timestamps. This is typically used for delivery, security, uptime, and troubleshooting.
Open-source distribution
Clicky is free and open source. The website may link to the public repository or downloadable releases, but the plugin itself is not intended to require payment, subscriptions, or account creation to use.
Support communications
If you contact us for support, we may keep the information you send us, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and troubleshooting notes, so we can respond and follow up.
Data retention
Local plugin settings remain on your machine unless you remove them. Website logs and support emails may be retained for operational, security, and troubleshooting reasons.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Clicky evolves. When we do, the updated version on this page becomes the current version for the website.
